Interfaces
Connect your own application or use hosted apps to work with your Swirls backend.
You choose how people use your Swirls backend. Build your own application with React, Node.js, an API, or an MCP server, or declare a hosted interface with a Swirls app block.
Managed MCP channels let external assistants call selected workflows or talk to an agent. Swirls hosts the endpoint; you declare its tools and access rules.
Hosted Apps can combine data, workflow launchers, agent chat, and review inboxes in one workspace.
Declare an app block and choose the page bodies it needs:
render: @openuifor custom pages bound to project resources.channel:for a shared room backed bychannel { platform: swirls }.threads:for finding and resuming conversations.reviews:for workflow approval inboxes.
Use forms for individual submissions, webhooks for incoming HTTP events, and schedules for recurring work. An app is optional; add one when people need a workspace around those operations.
